Las Gregorias - Quaker Bolivia Link, Bolivia

In 1998 Quaker Bolivia Link (QBL) initiated a women’s association in La Paz, Las Gregorias, for the purpose of promoting greater economic freedom. This group of 10 women entrepreneurs has been producing high-quality Alpaca products. Over the years, members of QBL-US and QBL-UK have purchased products from these women - helping them better maintain their operations.

This year, Quaker Bolivia Link (QBL) is collaborating with United4Change Center (U4C) to support Las  Gregorias expanding the initiative for a more sustainable Economic Development project, which is also being supported by Rotary International and other donors focused on women's empowerment.
